One Stop Systems Introduces WAN Family of Intelligent Processing Boards

One Stop Systems, a global provider in industrial-grade computing systems and components, today introduces two carrier-class T1/E1/J1 PMC and PCI adapter boards in short card and mezzanine card form factors. Both adapter boards easily integrate onto host CPU PCI and PMC sites to build powerful processing solutions addressing high-density wireless, wireline, SS7 and network convergence applications.
The carrier-class adapters offer single, dual or quad front panel T1/E1/J1 ports accessible through shielded RJ-48c connectors for easy cabling and low emissions. The PMC (Part #OSS-wanPMC-CxT1E1) and PCI (Part#OSS-wanPCI-CxT1E1) adapter boards are 128 channel communications controllers offering SS7, HDLC and transparent mode protocol support. The adapters incorporate onboard CSU/DSU functionality, reducing the dependency on external equipment.
