One Stop Systems Introduces Family of NEBS-compliant servers
- 1U and 3U servers meet strict NEBS requirements for telecom/datacom applications

ESCONDIDO, CA, June 18, 2008 – One Stop Systems, Inc. debuts two new ruggedized NEBS-compliant servers specifically designed to meet the demanding requirements of telecom and datacom applications. The new 1U and 3U high servers can be configured with dual Intel Xeon quad-core processors and system monitoring capabilities. Both are aesthetically equipped with rugged Level 3 cabinets and feature hot swappable drives. For added versatility both units are available in both AC and DC input versions. The 20” depth makes it easy to install in most Customer Premise Equipment racks. Space is provided on the front panels for OEM’s product name and logo, and the enclosures can be painted to the OEM’s requirements.
“The 1U and 3U NEBS-compliant servers positions One Stop Systems in the fore-front of the soft switch and data center marketplace. The 3U server is the ideal platform for high volume call routing and voice and data transfers and the 1U server is the perfect companion platform,” said Steve Cooper, CEO. “In addition, the 1U and 3U servers adds to the OSS growing family of NEBS-compliant products, which includes the 8U CompactPCI platform.”
The 1U and 3U servers’ prices vary widely based on the required configuration of processors and memory. The 1U server with dual Intel® Xeon® quad-core processors and no DRAM starts at $5,500 at OEM quantities. The 3U server with dual Intel® Xeon® dual-core processors start at $7,750 with no DRAM at OEM quantities. Both are available immediately.
1U NEBS-compliant server
The 1U motherboard-based server features a ruggedized 1U high rackmount enclosure with a removable air filter cover and replaceable air filter. Superior cooling is provided by the front-to-rear airflow design, six internal fans, one power supply fan and blowers over each of the processors. The front panel includes LEDs for power, hard drive activity, and major, minor, and critical alarm states. A USB port is also accessible on the front panel. The -48VDC input version features dual input terminals with an internal Or-ing diode board. The server is equipped with an Intel® Server Board S5000 and either one or two Dual-Core or Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® processors and supports up to 16GB DRAM.
3U NEBS-compliant server
The 3U motherboard-based server features a ruggedized 3U high rackmount enclosure with three removable air filter covers and replaceable air filters. Superior cooling is provided by the front-to-rear airflow design, six internal fans, one power supply fan and blowers over each of the processors. The front panel includes LEDs for power, hard drive activity, and major, minor, and critical alarms. A USB port is also accessible on the front panel. The -48VDC input version features dual input terminals with an internal Or-ing diode board. The server is equipped with an Intel® Server Board S5000 and either one or two Dual-Core or Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® processors and supports up to 3216GB DRAM.
