This high performance CompactPCI CT backplane is compatible with
the CompactPCI Computer Telephony Specification Revision 1.0. This
specification combines the standard CompactPCI Specification with
a Time Division Multiplex bus and the Enterprise Computer Telephony
Forum's ECTF H.110 (CT Bus).
The CompactPCI CT Backplane is a 8
layer design constructed using a combination of proven stripline
and microstrip techniques. Separate power planes and multiple ground
planes provide a low noise environment in order to achieve superior
performance at the high speed transfer rates required by the PCI
specifications.
CompactPCI CT backplanes are available in 6U configurations
only. The P3 connector can be used as user I/O. The P4 connector
is dedicated and containes the Time Division Multiplex (TDM)
Bus and the computer telephony bus. The user definable pins for
P5 are for through-backplane analog and digital telephony I/O,
user definable input and output, and CT Front Board supply voltage
feed through.
