One Stop Systems' 4U high enclosure supports up to eight 6U
horizontally-mounted boards. It provides a 350 watt ATX-style
power supply and two drive bays. Front-to-rear cooling is provided
by two fans mounted on one end of the card cage, blowing cooling
air across the boards and exiting out the rear of the enclosure.
Additional cooling is provdeed by two large intake fans.
The 4U
high enclosure supports rear I/O on all slots, allowing all cabling
to be routed through the rear of the enclosure, permitting easy
servicing of front boards. All power taps are on the rear of
the backplane. The 4U high enclosure is constructed of sturdy,
lightweight aluminum with rackmount ears for mounting in a 19” rack.
