One Stop Systems' 4U high enclosure supports up to eight 6U
horizontally-mounted boards. In addition to its 8-slot standard
CompactPCI backplane, this 4U high enclosure offers dual 350
watt hot swappable power supplies and two 5-1/4” drive
bays. Front-to-back cooling is provided by two 80mm (40 CFM each)
fans mounted on one end of the card cage, blowing cooling air
across the boards and exiting out the rear of the enclosure.
The
4U high enclosure supports rear I/O on all slots, allowing all
cabling to be routed through the rear of the enclosure, permitting
easy servicing of front boards. The system slot is the bottom
slot in the enclosure. The dual 350 watt power supply includes
overvoltage, overload and short circuit protection. An A/C input
and on/off switch are located on each power supply module. The
4U high enclosure is constructed of sturdy, lightweight aluminum
with rackmount ears for mounting in a 19” rack.
