The P47 connector has been approved by the CompacPCI Power Spec
Committee as the recommended connector for all future designs.
The One Stop Systems single connector backplane allows designers
to meet their power requirements and maintain compatibility to
the Spec without altering current designs. In addition, the power
supply backplane allows flexibility in design by allowing the designer
to install the backplane most suitable for the application.
This
backplane routes the AC input to the power supply, which converts
it to the necessary voltages for CompactPCI and then routes those
voltages to power lugs on the rear of the backplane. Power lugs
mate with the One Stop Systems Power Bar that conveniently attaches
the power supply backplane to any One Stop Systems CompactPCI backplane
without the need for a cable harness.
OSS Power Bar
The rear of the power supply backplane contains a 3-pin AC input
connector, a peripheral power connector, an on/off switch connection,
a 10-pin utility connector and the appropriate power lugs for
CompactPCI voltages. A line can be routed from an on/off switch
on the front panel to the 2-pin connector on the rear of the
backplane. Power lugs are provided for +5V, +3.3V, +12V, -12V
and ground. The 10-pin utility connector contains signals for
LEDs that can be mounted on the front panel as well as +5V and
GND.
The P47 power supply backplane and power bar provide a clean
and efficient way to power a 6U CompactPCI system for current
and future designs.

ATX connector sensing, 16-pin control header sensing and a
