The OSS-EBP-2000 has two PCI Express x8 link slots connected together.
One slot supports the OSS host interface board (HIB) that brings
a remote PCIe bus to the backplane via a cable interface. Any x8,
x4, or x1 IO PCIe add-in board can be installed in the second slot
and operate as a remote slot from the host PC. For example, the
OSS quad USB board can be installed in the second slot and then
operate four USB devices from the remote computer.
